- Heartwarming Moments: When Dr. Pierce has a minor breakdown, he runs into trouble with a board member, and ends up getting fired for, effectively, being an unmedicated schizophrenic. When his students find out, they refuse to attend the replacement professor's lectures and begin planning a protest to get him reinstated, which is met with Daniel refusing to allow his students to jeopardize their own futures for him.
