• Fridge Brilliance: Dr. Forrester rigged the Satellite of Love to self destruct after 10 years, but the ship is over 500 years old at this point, and has the Nanites. The Nanites kept the ship together, but they never corrected Dr. Forrester's sabotage since no one knew better and they don't do anything without a work order. Then again, last time the Nanites were seen, they got crushed by Mike during the events of "Gorgo."
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Some fans were disappointed that Joel did not join Mike and the Bots in the theater to help with the riffing. Joel later explained that he was not involved in the episode's writing and would not have been comfortable riffing a film he had never seen.
