- Alternative Character Interpretation: Nomad's Revolt takes the more modern (and more accurate) view of Christopher Columbus. Petersen suggests we kill off Columbus (figuratively, of course).
- Cult Classic: During the band's early heyday, they were known amongst their peers and the punk press, but never quite reached the popularity heights of their contemporaries. As years went by, they started getting more recognition, especially as Folk Punk started to get quite big, and are now one of the most mentioned bands of their genre.
