- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The cover of Slade's "Merry Christmas Everybody". Some songs are just not made to performed as an acoustic folk number in a Scottish accent.
- Heartwarming Moments: "John C. Clark (The Gasman Song)" may be intended as a comedy song, but it's also very very lovely.
- Refrain from Assuming: "Daisy" gets called by some portion of its refrain "There are people in this world who don't think like you do" enough that the sheet music lists the refrain in brackets on the front page below the actual title.
