  • Gamebreaker: Pretty much every faction has a couple strategies that are impossible to defeat without a few very specific counters.
    • Genesis Industries can use the Secluded Constructor to sacrifice a character to give another a power boost. Not only can this be done as many times per turn as you have resources for it, the Unending Drone will continually resurrect as long as you have at least one in play. Hello, infinite power loop.
    • The Sleepers of Avvarach have a number of cards that improve the more are destroyed. Endless Horde gets a 1/1 bonus per Endless Horde card in the graveyard, and Zombie Scavenger gets a 2/2 bonus every time an undead character under your control dies. Not to mention that half the cards in the faction self-resurrect after a few turns. If your opponent doesn't have some way of cleaning out your graveyard, it's very very difficult to stop.
    • The Cult of Verore give us the Verore Death Worshipper, who gains 2/2 every time an enemy character is defeated. Combine with the factions love of wide-scale spells like Heat Wave and Mass Death, as well as the fact that most of the other factions like using lots of cheap and weak cards, and you can have a dozen cheap characters with 30/30 in just a couple turns.
    • The Overseers have Lilariah. When she comes into a combat zone, all angels receive flying, allowing them to bypass most defenses and directly hit the opponent's fortress. Given the Overseers' consisting completely of angels and its token production abilities, it's easy to amass an army of flying angels. Even worse though is Azael, the Overseer's "titan" card. It costs 35 to play usually, but it's reduced by the amount of damage taken the previous turn. Not only does it give angels flying, it also gives them untouchable, which makes them immune to cards that target like Death Rays.
  • Unpopular Popular Character: Yobo, Who Nobody Likes.
