- Accidental Aesop: For "If It Bleeds": don't track your friend's phone without their permission, or show up uninvited to "surprise them", especially if you know they didn't want you to know where they were going to be.
- Moral Event Horizon: The psychic vampire from "If It Bleeds" crosses it when he decides to up his game and actively cause tragedies to feed on (in this case by bombing a school) rather than sit back and wait for a tragedy to happen, as he did up to this point. For Holly, this is the main reason she wants to hunt down and kill the creature, since she knows he won't stop causing tragedies now that he has gone down this path.
