- Creepy Cute: The Kodamas. They're small spirits that look like they're made of hollow trees, but they're adorable with how small they are, especially the chubbiest one, who looks like a baby.
- Tear Jerker: The reason why the one "worst-performing" kodama didn't want the Elder to see his ability to grow flowers was that they didn't want the Elder to pass away (which was the reason why they were waiting and training tirelessly). Cue Moro giving them a lesson about Mono no Aware.
