• Seasonal Rot: There are arguments in the comment sections of the videos and the subreddit over whether the show got worse starting in 2024, Some people claim that the guests are getting worse, with an increasing number of them seemingly not caring about their finances at all or else being so stupid or crazy that they're beyond help, while earlier episodes featured guests who had gotten into debt and made some bad decisions but were also usually willing to take Caleb's advice onboard. Other people claim that the guests haven't really gotten worse, or that even if they have, the drama is entertaining.
