** Last but not least, the Ultra Instinct itself, a form so badass that when Goku finally mastered it, every single god of destruction stands up in awe. The existence of the form itself elevates Goku, who's already a MemeticBadass himself, up to eleven, sparking even more power-level debate across the fandom. Even without taking Goku into account, Ultra Instinct is always associated with being "untouchable", with many videos showcasing impressive feats of dodging/evading often edited with the Ultra Instinct theme or Ultimate Battle song. Heck, slap "Ultra Instinct" on any character, no matter how weak or unimpressive they are, and they'll become an instant badass. Just ask Shaggy Rogers.

** Ribrianne - but not Brianne de Chateau - from Universe 2 is starting to become this amongst the fanbase. Her repulsive appearance isn't really appealing to many fans, and though claimed to be formidable, hasn't exactly proven it - Post-God Base Goku isn't really trying hard against her, though she did take a strong hit from SSJB and got up without significant struggle. Then she ended up being a roadblock to Goku when he tried to intervene in significant fights, including Frost vs. a weakened Master Roshi and Frieza seemingly aligned with Frost, which for many is the moment that she overstayed her 'MagicalGirl parody' welcome. Not helping the matter is that she can come across as a selfish hypocrite, or perhaps a blatant ProtagonistCenteredMorality; while she condemned Android 17 for attacking while they were transforming, she later tried to attack Goku while he was charging the Spirit Bomb. There's also her wish to become a love goddess with the Super Dragon Balls, which is either selfish because it rules out bringing back the other universes, or yet another case of AngstWhatAngst (as each Universe only cares about their own survival, not the others'). The fact that she is shouting about love every time she is on screen pushes her into even further hatedom, since unlike Toppo and the Pride Troops, she just never stops shouting about love. To say that many people cheered when she finally got defeated in Episode 117 tells you how people felt about her, but she did get some CharacterDevelopment by realizing that there's more to love than the love she was constantly preaching about. Her FaceDeathWithDignity attitude after Universe 2's erasure, as well as the fact that the women she blasted in her introduction were merely injured rather than killed, has made her slightly more likable.

*** "Canonical" arguments complicated even further by the fact that, since the anime ended, Toyotaro wrote his own arc (The Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc) before collaborating much more directly with Toriyama to create the "Granolah the Survivor" arc. Without the anime to continue past the events of the tournament of power, canonical arguments lose hold as the manga remains the only continuation of the story written by Toriyama until the release of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.
