• Alternative Character Interpretation: Was the PRT therapist in the final chapter really that ham-handed by nature, or did he recognise what the PRT was up to and therefore deliberately sabotaged the session so as to keep Taylor out of their hands?
• Moral Event Horizon: For Coil, it's generally believed that he's crossed it when he ordered Dinah's parents to be killed during his attempt to capture her.
• Sliding Scale of Unavoidable vs. Unforgivable: Debates rage in universe and out if some of Taylor's more extreme actions are truly justified or if she had enough power to Take a Third Option and chose not to.
• The Woobie:
  • Dinah. At the start of the story, we learn that her parents were killed trying to protect her.
  • Taylor becomes one at the end of the story given all the crap she's gone through.
