- Moral Event Horizon: Eridan has two In-Universe:
- For Kanaya and Nepeta, he crossed the line when he tried to Murder the Hypotenuse and left Nepeta for dead.
- For everyone else in their social circle, his crossing came when he tried to take revenge on Kanaya for damaging his relationship with his moirail by mind-controlling Equius. Kanaya called Aurthor for help; Equius then unknowingly killed his own lusus.
- Nightmare Fuel: Quite a bit, especially relating to Gamzee. He's possibly even scarier here than he was in canon.
- Tear Jerker: Nepeta's flashbacks.
- Karkat's chatlogs with Aradia.
- The Woobie: Nepeta. Good God, Nepeta.
- Karkat, too, given his Love Martyr tendencies and his self-loathing over what happened to Aradia.
