YMMV / Batman: Reptilian

• Alternative Character Interpretation: Batman is more of an Adaptational Jerkass in this story compared to his mainstream counterpart and many other incarnations. But how he got to be this way isn't made very clear. It's possible that the Arkham rogues in this universe, particularly Killer Croc, showed much less redeeming values than the main DC Batman villains so that's why Batman is much more uncaring towards their well being, as possibly evidenced by Batman talking about all the "trouble" Croc has given him over the years. On the other hand, it's possible this particular Batman was always this callous and cold of a person to begin with because of the way he exploited a low level goon like Konstantine up to and including using him as bait for the monster, which isn't typical behavior for most versions of Bruce. Because of the lack of background information for all parties involved, whether for Batman or Croc, it's difficult to tell if the Reptilian version of Batman was always this much of a Jerkass or one thing led to another and slowly but surely made him a more unfeeling, hardened hero over the course of many years.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: An almost literal example, no less. While Batman is telling Killer Croc that his offspring wants to breastfeed from him, we get a single panel of it wearing lipstick. No explanation is given.
• Squick: The monster attempting to breastfeed on, and then impregnate, Killer Croc.
