• Shallow Parody: The major failing of the series is that it was written by people who never listened to a single episode of an actual '50s American radio series. Its emphasis on anvil-dropping morals and Science Is Bad is the exact opposite of the escapist, science-worshiping shows it's supposedly making fun of.
