• Moral Event Horizon: Buster tells Arthur his parents have done some very horrible things to him.
  Buster: Your family is doing this. They took you from your natural habitat. They mutilated your face. They deprived you of ants and ant products. Kill them. Kill them all.
• Nausea Fuel: The way some of the violence is described can be disgusting to some people, especially the squeamish.
• Shallow Parody: The story doesn't have any mention of the many serious issues Arthur handled with maturity for children (such as Alzheimer's, dyslexia and cancer), and in fact implies it only teaches children to "share and play".
