YMMV / Arcanum

• Iron Woobie: Adam. He maintains iron composure even as he recounts his nightmare of a life, and later when huntsmen beat him to the inch of his life.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Ruby, Yang, and the Dredgers as a whole. The narrative tries to paint them as victims of an unfair system who deserve a chance at a better life, but all of these portrayed in the story are self-centered thieves at best and murderers or slavers at worst. Ruby and Yang are working for a crime boss and while they don't necessarily enjoy this line of work, they will gladly resort to stealing even when it's not strictly necessary. Overall it may be hard to feel bad for the group that is consistently portrayed as the scum of humanity that keep perpetuating their own problems.
