XCOM reverse engineering Reaper tech, especially stuff from Virmire and indoctrination.
- There is no way it will come back to bite them, like it did with Cerberus in the original.
- It's a disaster in 'batarian' scale waiting to happen.
- Would be an awesome plot twist to see XCOM to hoist by its own petard.
- Not really, given that you'd end up with a "Shaggy Dog" Story that ends up about as poorly as it does in Mass Effect 3. Further, the notion that XCOM wouldn't be extremely cautious about indoctrination (given their history with mind control, psi-influence, and the ET) in any and all forms is laughable.
