Zoey is broke
Her room in episode 10 has no decorations or even lights and she sits on the floor which knowing her she wouldn't be the one to do that if she was financially stable. Also, in episode 5, Drew mentions that she asks him to get her food, clothes, and bags I don't think she would ask him to do those things if she was financially stable so that means she needs the help of a sugar daddy and a rich boyfriend just to survive. 1) It's set in 2020 even though there is no Covid.2) Shown through majority of the characters Gacha Club Export Codes, we can infer they live in US. Although the state is unknown, as seen through The Music Freaks Spotify account, they live in a place called Rosemeadow City.
