Orro is a predator that feeds primarily on merfolk.
Orro has a false human face at the top of its head, and even makes a motion as if to kiss right before attacking. Notably, it doesn't do this when it's trying to escape from Borrus, but rather right before beginning its hunt, so rather than a threat display, this mimicry seems to be a lure designed to hunt a humanoid species. At the same time, assuming that Orro is fully aquatic rather than amphibious, it stands to reason its prey would have to be aquatic humanoids, i.e. merfolk.The kissing motion allows us to speculate that Orro's primarily preys on merfolk looking for a mate. It hides its serpentine body in an alcove, exposing only its false face and presenting itself as a potential mating partner, and lunges for the kill once its prey comes within striking distance of its gnashing jaws.
