- Soon after (apparently) leaving the holodeck, Moriarty asks Picard what sea the Enterprise sails in and if they can go up on deck. Moriarty was perfectly aware the Enterprise is a starship and they're in space and these comments to Picard were to make Picard underestimate him. Basically, playing dumb.
