WMG / Neo Tokyo (1987)

In Labyrinth, the girl is having a fever dream.

I think this would actually make sense for the story. Sure she could just be living in a surreal reality but if it were a dream then the ending would be a bit nicer. All those weird physics that she does like pulling the cat backwards as it's trying to escape is her just using lucid dreaming, as well as making the lipstick glow red. It being a very surreal world would also make sense if it were in a dream.
