Nicole's rape of Matt was non-penetrative
If one looks real carefully after Nicole climbs off of Matt once she's finished, his... equipment isn't showing (and why would she go through the trouble of putting it back? Beyond that, why would any rapist go through the trouble of helping their victim get dressed?). The explanation for that is simple: Nicole dry-humped Matt and caused him to orgasm, and it still counts as rape because Matt didn't consent to it.
  • Makes sense that Nicole would do that, given her personality. It's clear that she was the real controlling one in the relationship, given how she acts towards Matt for filming her towards the end of the opening credits. She goes to his apartment after being dumped by her fiancé, to try basically get him back into a relationship with her because she believed she still had control. And when he flat-out refuses and then she finds out about his vow, it would make sense that she would dry-hump him, basically cause him to break his vow and basically regain control over him before leaving the scene. Earlier in the film, one of Matt's female co-workers mentions "the power" that women have over men, and Nicole could be seen as "the power" in its raw, physical, and most horrifying form.
