This may explain the little to no Abyssal resistance encountered during Operation Rising Sun. The mole may have gotten wind of the impending operation, relayed it back to his higher-ups, who in turn ordered most of the Abyssals in the suspected operation area to make themselves scarce while leaving behind a token force. Only when Operation Rising Sun was declared a "success" did they perform their counter-attack on the Okinawa naval base.- Considering certain implications in Fleet Symphony, this might not be that much of a stretch.
