Alma is Haruhi.

Each episode shows that Alma can easily freeze time to think about her problem. This could make her a Reality Warper similar to Haruhi. Unlike the Haruhi we know, however, Alma is aware of her abilities, yet no one else is. After Alma unfreezes time, everyone goes back to what they were doing beforehand.
