Greg's Deadly Draft is an indie sports Mascot Horror game developed by Silvercity Sharks.
You are a football player that has been drafted to join the Sharks. However, you quickly find out that something is completely out of place in the facility. Not only is the mascot real, but there is shady science involved in all of this.
You'll have to survive the draft if you want to make it to the exit.
Greg's Deadly Draft wants these tropes to join the Sharks:
- Big Bad: Greg White Shark. He is also the last obstacle to take down in order to escape the stadium with your life.
- Big "NO!": The Mighty Cone cries this out after being defeated, before exploding and leaving a heart behind.
- Featureless Protagonist: The only thing you can see of the protagonist is either the football or the anchor in their possession.
- Horror Comedy: Although it is a horror game involving a sentient mascot (in this case, football) and there is mad science snuck inside, the entire game is comical because of Greg's over-the-top personality and the silliness of the shark mutants and robots being easy to stun/destroy.
- Just Think of the Potential!: Behind the scenes, a secret laboratory was established within the stadium that created a performance serum called P.E.S., which was used to provides boosts for football player candidates. However, it also has the not-so-pleasant effect of causing the consumer to become a shark over a period of time.
