• Bury Your Art: When Veggie Tales went to mainstream stores in 1998, the first and third episodes were released first. Several episodes produced later were also released throughout 1998. It wasn't until over a year later that this episode was released to mainstream markets. Even now, Big Idea does not acknowledge this episode as much as the episodes that surround it.
• Recycled Script: "The Forgive-O-Matic" was based on a puppet show Phil Vischer and Mike Nawrocki had done in bible college.
• What Could Have Been: Mike Nawrocki's original idea for Larry's daydream that causes him to crash the boat in "Larry's Lagoon" was that he'd imagine his nose coming off and floating around his head. Phil Vischer found it too hallucinogenic and instead suggested having Larry daydream about being an iceberg breaking pilot.
