• Screwed by the Network: Not the film's broadcasting by PBS in itself, but at the Academy Awards 2023 held in March 2024, the Award for Best Documentary Feature part of the ceremony was not broadcast internationally when the film's crew won it, for some unexplained reason. Ukrainian commentators and social media users denounced this move since the category's previous year win, Navalny, was broadcast along with the speech of Alexey Navalny's wife. The AMPAS apologized a few days later and put the win footage back.
