Trivia / The Simpsons S13 E11 "The Bart Wants What it Wants"

• This is the last episode to use the Circus Line Couch Gag, which is the most used gag in the show's history. It was used as a quick way of padding out an episode that was running short.
• Technology Marches On: "You haven't seen Itchy and Scratchy until you've seen it on DVD" proclaims Greta. This was in 2002, only a few years before the introduction of Blu-ray (though it did take Blu-Ray quite a bit to catch on due to an uphill battle DVD never had, and as such there are considerably less Blu-Ray Players sold compared to DVD players). Curiously, the ridiculous size of the TV they're watching it on, which is more obviously impressive, isn't mentioned.
