- Crowdfunder Cameo: As part of the Kickstarter, any contributor could pay a little more and have their character appear in the comic. This goes so far as the casting of the villainous Dr. Blackfoot.
- It did, however, require a few explanations when people came in in the middle and saw a character representing one of the author's less-liked fans get his brains splattered like tomato sauce on the nearest bulkhead. The author is a professional, however; regardless of owner, characters receive the appearance paid for.
