• Keep Circulating the Tapes: The version that is most common is the 1959 recut used in The Chaplin Revue, however copies of the original are easier to find.
• What Could Have Been: Chaplin planned to release the movie with United Artists and end his First National contract with a movie made of scrapped ideas and deleted scenes called The Professor. But in the end First National convinced him to release The Prilgrim.
• You Look Familiar: Both Chaplin's brother Sydney and Chaplin stock player Henry Bergman play multiple roles.
