• Real Life Writes the Plot:
  • Supergirl's production has moved to Vancouver, but series regular Calista Flockhart (Cat Grant) did not wish to move as well, and thus her role is reduced to a recurring one instead. This of course means that Kara can no longer work as Cat's assistant, so as of this episode she is now a field reporter for CatCo, while former IT staffer Winn now works for the DEO.
  • While not yet confirmed by the show's staff, this may be the reason why the DEO's main location has changed as well, because presumably the set of the cave base for some reason proved infeasible to port from Los Angeles to Vancouver.
