• Executive Veto: Averted. When Joseph Quinn (Eddie) saw the actual completed Chrissy death scene during an ADR session, he thought that Netflix would prevent it going out. They allowed it to air.
• Throw It In!: The forest drug deal between Eddie and Chrissy was shot extremely late in production, after Chrissy's death scene had been filmed. In the interest of saving time, the Duffers used a two-camera setup, and when Joseph Quinn ad-libbed a lot of Eddie's mannerisms, they found that Grace Van Dien's genuine responses to his unscripted actions were better than anything they could have directed her to do, and so kept them. This backfired a bit since the Duffers realized the two actors had great chemistry and regretted not developing the relationship between them a bit more.
