• Recycled Script: "Appointment TV" is similar to the Season 4 episode "Best Day Ever" in that both episodes revolve around SpongeBob wanting to do a special activity he's excited for (doing all of his favorite things in one day for "Best Day Ever" and watching the Mermaid Man Lost Episode in "Appointment TV"), only to get roped into doing tasks for his friends to the point where he is unable to perform said activity - said friends make up for it by putting on a stage show for him as thanks.
