• Colbert Bump: The film was almost completely obscure, until The Angry Video Game Nerd reviewed the film as part of his mock feud with The Nostalgia Critic. Even the IMDB page was almost empty before the review.
• Star-Derailing Role: With the exception of The Champ's actor Hawthorne James, who's been able to maintain a steady career in film and theatre to this day, nobody else in this movie even came close to anything resembling a significant role in anything else, with most of their careers beginning and ending here.
