• Actor-Inspired Element: Much of her reinvention as the Nightmare was basically Rhea deciding to create a character that was essentially her in real life, folding in her love of heavy metal, gothic fashion and rough-around-the-edges attitude to craft a persona that was more reflective of her true nature, rather than the blandly-conventional, pretty-but-tough-chick character she had been saddled with in her debut. To say that it worked amazingly well is the understatement of the century.
• Promoted Fangirl: She's done many interviews about how she looked up to Beth Phoenix for being a combination of imposing brawn, in-ring skill and incredible beauty, and how, when Rhea was younger, she aspired to be like her one day. Fast forward a few years, and not only did Rhea manage to reach many of the same heights, she got the chance to participate in an active feud with Beth, something she described as a dream come true.
