• What Could Have Been: Originally, the White Ranger was a character named Rocky (not to be confused with the future Rocky DeSantos), played by Brad Hawkins. When the decision was made to bring JDF back to MMPR, Hawkins was instead moved to what had been JDF's show, "Cybertron", now retooled as VR Troopers.
  • Also, it's likely that Zordon's line about Tommy being made the new leader was not intended to be that. All evidence points to Zordon referring to Tommy as the new member of the power team and that Tommy had rejoined the ranks of the Rangers. The decision was probably made soon after Austin St. John left alongside Walter Jones and Thuy Trang due to salary disputes.
