- Deleted Scene
- Silver Borne was originally to include a scene with Samuel and Ariana having a heart to heart after their encounter with the Fairy Queen. The scene was restored in Shifting Shadows.
- Originally, Night Broken was going to close out with Adam’s POV and checking up on Mercy in the hospital. This scene was also restored in Shifting Shadows.
- Milestone Celebration: Fire Touched (2016) was released on the ten year anniversary of Moon Called (2006). Fitting considering the Nothing Is the Same Anymore nature of the novel.
- What Could Have Been:
- Mike Newell’s 50 Canon Entertainment had optioned the rights to produce films based on at least the first three Mercy books and the first film based on “Moon Called” was set for either Summer 2013 or Spring 2014 release. It never came around for unknown reasons and Mercy Thompson still hasn’t a film released. The Good news? On April 19, 2022, Patrica Briggs has announced on her social media that Amazon Prime now has the rights to produce a live action Mercy Thompson series.
