Trivia / Massive-Verse

Go To

  • Ascended Fanon: The universe wasn't initially named in solicitations or the like, usually just referred to as the "Image superhero universe" despite Image having had a shared superhero universe in the past. However, in the Discord server for the Radiant Black Podcast, a fan referred to it as the "Massive-Verse". The creators took a liking to it and have since used the name on social media and when discussing the universe in interviews, and it saw much more use than the generic "Image superhero universe". It eventually showed up in the backmatter of Supermassive, which launched the shared universe, basically making it official. Following on from that, Image used "Massive-Verse" when referring to any comic tied to the setting.
  • Schedule Slip: There were changes to the release schedule, but by the start of February 2022, the Supermassive special was meant to release on the 16th of February, with Rogue Sun releasing a week later on the 23rd — while Supermassive had some changed dates, Rogue Sun was always meant to debut in February (it was even in Image's February solicitations and in the ads within Supermassive). However, once Supermassive was delayed by a week, it had the domino effect of pushing Rogue Sun back a week into March, thus making it debut in the same week as Radiant Red before the latter was also delayed by a week to avoid that.
