Trivia / Harry Potter and the Man of Unknown

• Outdated by Canon:
  • The author assumed that the plot of Prisoner of Azkaban would involve Harry being sent to the titular prison. Nothing of the sort happens, as Harry has the threat of the escaped prisoner looming over him all year.
  • Remus Lupin is still teaching at Hogwarts in Harry's fourth year. He ends up leaving at the end of Harry's third year due to being outed as a werewolf and later books establish that it's impossible for somebody to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts for longer than a year because Voldemort jinxed the position.
  • Erwin seems to Apparate within Hogwarts, which (as Hermione has to keep reminding her friends) is later established as being impossible due to several enchantments placed on the school.
