• Edited for Syndication: The syndicated version of this episode cuts out the entire cold opening, along with Stewie's line, "I'm going to crap double for you tonight!" and the scene where Lois mentions Indian food.^note The removal of the cold opening seems to be an edit for both time and content, since it has Stewie mentioning Brian chewing on his own "ass". When Brian himself mentioned this act in "A Hero Sits Next Door", it was changed to "leg" in syndication.
• The Cast Show Off: Peter's Incredibly Long Note is the first time in the series that Seth MacFarlane gets to show off his impressive singing abilities, doubly impressive in that he holds that note while also doing a distinct character voice.
