- Orphaned Reference: There is the lost "Book of Jashar", which is mentioned in Joshua 10:13, which talks about a time when the sun stayed up longer than usual and ends with "as is written in the Book of Jashar", implying said book would be well-known to the original audience (the ancient Israelites). Alas, nothing of the book has been found, other than what is almost certainly a forgery.
