• Series Hiatus: A.R.E.S. was planned to be an episodic series of games, however, many years have gone by and it has not seen a new installment since 2010, most likely due to the story being retconned in favor of its 2014 EX remake which drastically simplified and cut down its story.
• What Could Have Been: Zytron was originally going to be a robot instead of a gaseous life-form.
• Working Title: It's name during early stages of development was Trashman.
