  • Blooper:
    • Between the letters O and P in the video, a leaf transition can be heard. It's probable that a leaf transition was going to go here, but was in the final replaced with that of a custom segment, with a cartoon elephant trying to push away the screen to the next song, unsuccessfully.
    • In the Spanish dub, the 'Stand up sit down' Yak song near the end misplaces the lyrics with what is going on, the clouds rolling by as the people of Tibet wave all the yaks bye-bye and vice versa.
    • In the French dub, the song references white and black gibbons in this order. However, the dub shows footage of a black gibbon first, and then a white one. This was fixed in the Spanish dub.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes:
    • Of the 6 dubs to exist, 3 have been archived on the internet, and the other 3 presumably exist solely at the hands of ITV themselves.
    • The Italian dub, which has since faded into obscurity. No DVD or VHS of it are known to exist, it never seemed to have aired, and its identity was only found out via an email, up to that point it was simply referred to as 'the 6th dub'. It is that rare.
  • No Export for You: Several dubbed episodes had to change animals to be consistent with said country's language. An example of this is in the French dub that A is not for the skittish armadillo of the English dub, but rather for antelope.
  • Prop Recycling: Between the original and dubs, they don't really have too many new assets, apart from the footage of animals. A transition is even used twice in the Spanish dub, at the end of the Letter C and at the beginning of D, and at the end of Ñ and beginning of O.
  • What Could Have Been:
    • A cartoon snake is shown in the cover of an audio cassette. Whilst several different cartoon animals do appear in the video, this snake is never shown.
    • According to an email, a Russian dub was in the works for the series, but never came to fruition. This would've been a grand task to achieve though, since Russia uses their own alphabet, as opposed to the Latin alphabet of 26 letters.
