Tearjerker / Greg Veder Vs The World

• Taylor snapping at Greg after he convinces Sophia and the others to stop bullying her once she hears that he is dating Emma. While we as the audience can understand why she is completely suspicious due to her suffering thanks to The Terrible Trio, Greg really only tried to help her because he wanted to. And so, Taylor loses probably the only guy she could have called a friend. Completely hurt by the utter rejection, he gives up on trying to be friends with Taylor.
• Greg's argument with mom after PRT checked him out if he triggered in Aggro 4.15. To anyone that has problems with parents that simply don't think that their kids can do important things by themselves, this can hit hard.
  • As argument goes on and Greg proceeds to take apart every argument mother has even their promise of never lying to one another he proceeds to say something that completely breaks her.
    Greg: "As bad as Dad was, I could never see him calling the PRT on me. Not without even talking to me, at least. I think… I think… I'd call that love."
  • During this chapter he even finds out why he is so different from others. While his reaction isn't shown, to the reader it's clear this bothers him very much.
• Losing contact with Gstring Girl. Due to his argument with mom as stated above along with the fact that he fought against Lung Greg forgets to check up on her.
• After recovering from the explosion in the hospital, he believes his mom is dead. Worse, because his power of the Gamer's Mind does not allow any sort of huge imbalances in emotion it attempted to turn off his grief entirely. He barely manages to fight it off.
• After barely surviving the battle against Oni Lee thanks to Laserdream stepping in at the last second, he can barely stop himself from crying from feeling weak and unable to stop Oni Lee from hurting anyone again.
• Finally arriving home after a grueling fight with ABB, Greg finds out his mom survived. You can feel the heartbreaking joy at knowledge that she is safe.
