Tearjerker / Chihayafuru

• In-universe, Kanade begins to cry when she defeats Tsutomo, after a hard won victory. Tsutomo, it should be noted, isn't upset by the loss, and even smiles gently at her. Chihaya later informs them that they both went up a rank.
• The foreign team from Chiba are devastated by their loss at Nationals, and on the verge of breaking down, until Misuzawa wrote a note saying that they wanted to play them again.
• Chihaya begins to find tears of joy when she sees that her parents have started a scrapbook of her accomplishments next to her sister's.
• Chihaya is utterly devastated when she realizes that Taichi quit the club because of his feelings for her, and how she felt as if she'd crushed him with her ignorance.
