Tear Jerker / Royal Blossoms

• Sumire ends up so guilt-ridden after the accident that the first things she does after meeting Akira in the hospital room is to outright apologize to him and blaming herself for getting him and Kasumi injured and that if she was run over by the truck and died, neither of them would've been hurt for her sake and no one would miss her. When Akira tries to comfort her by recounting that her father cares about her, it resulted in Sumire bursting into tears wondering why Akira is being so kind to her despite her being responsible for his injuries. Akira responds by telling her that she is deserving of kindness, which leads to Sumire finally calming down.
• Kasumi's leg injuries end up stopping her from taking part in gymnastics and leaving her requiring a wheelchair to move around. This, in turn, takes a toll on her mentally, resulting in Kasumi seeing herself as a burden to everyone and holding Sumire back. Her grief gets to the point where she ends up forming a Palace of her own.
