Birdman
- Long story short, four words: Hanna. Barbera. Beam. Struggle. Short story long, in the episode "The Ruthless Ringmaster", The villainous carnies fire this powerful heat ray at our avian hero. Thinking quickly, Ray counters it with a blast of his own. The two beams collide and seem evenly matched, but Birdman finally overpowers the beam after a bit. Best part of this is that his solar energy hadn't been spent yet. The moment afterwards, he manages to tie a weight around Jobo, the circus strongman's, neck.

- Another awesome moment from "The Ruthless Ringmaster", this one doesn't showcase Birdman's raw power, more like his smarts. The Ringmaster's henchmen confronts Birdman riding in the tank they stole from the US Military. Birdman fires his thermal beams, and while they don't damage the tank, it makes the tank downright uninhabitable for the henchman manning it, who bails out as quickly as he can before he can get cooked. Just goes to show, Birdman can think as well as fight.
