Season 9:
Amnesiacs are Innocent: Van Ark returns in episode 15, using a different first name, not recognizing our heroes, helpful, and apparently quite appalled at their former actions. They say all they have in common with what they know of their former self is their intellect. Apparently grown from genetic residue found at his crash site, justifying the amnesia, and perhaps the innocence as well.
