Ai-Mai-Mi (あいまいみー, Ai Mai Mī)
is a Japanese yonkoma online manga series written and illustrated by Choborau Nyopomi. It has been adapted into an anime television series.
The story follows the lives of the girls Ai, Mai, Mi and Ponoka-senpai, who together form the "Manga Club" where they fight against alien invaders, face fierce rivals and do all sorts of crazy things when they are not drawing manga.
[Ai Mai Mi] contains examples of:
- 12 Episode Anime: Even though the first season has 13 episodes, the other seasons only have 12.
- All Anime Is Naughty Tentacles: Ponoka holds a pot with tentacles inside of it
- Anime Theme Song: The theme stands out in the anime for being a rock style mixed with 8-bit.
- Black Comedy Animal Cruelty: Mai licking an Axolotl until it starts bleeding
- Bloody Hilarious: This happens a lot of times, when Mai licks the axolotl,when Mai kills Mi, when Mai vomits and her ears bleeds and among other scenes
- Cloudcuckoolander: Mai and sometimes Mi
- Comedic Sociopathy: Mai and Mi are always torturing poor Ai for drawing manga, and sometimes Ai replies it back
- Crazy-Prepared: Ponoka and her pot
