- Assimilation Backfire: The eGemony agents tasked with retrieving the Canadian Club containing Night Vale's soul drank a bottle, and became the Baristas.
- Skewed Priorities: The King of the Baristas tells Cecil that eGemony will continue doing everything in their power to take away the soul of Night Vale, and all because of money. Cecil thinks this is terrible news, mostly because he doesn't like hearing bad things said about his sponsors.
