A pair of screen writters comes up with an idea for a television show based off Zack and Cody's life at the Tipton, and they are invited (along with Carey, Maddie, London, and Mr. Moseby) to Hollywood to see it in production.
Tropes:
- Absurdly Youthful Mother: The actress chosen to play Carey parodies this trope which is prevalent in a lot of media - as she's only 22 but "I've played old before".
- Gender Flip: London in the show is male and named Madrid (played by Dante Basco!) to allow for a romance between her and Maddie.
- Out-of-Context Eavesdropping: Zack and Cody first encounter the screen writers in the middle of an argument trying to come up with a new show idea after their last one got canceled. Unfortunately, their choice of words make the twins think they're professional hitmen, and go to tell the others about it. It doesn't help that they ask for help disposing of a duffel bag.
